Equating vulnerability with weirdness
Kristen Kalp suggests that vulnerability and weirdness are essentially the same thing. We’re afraid of coming across as weird because we think that others might judge us and that we could, in fact, lose social status. But if you do it right, the opposite is actually true.
“Your peeps — the ones who will adore you and keep you in business for years to come — can’t love you if you don’t show them who you are,” Kalp advises entrepreneurs. “They can only love what they’re shown.”
