A Good Ole Naked Time Part 2
By Audrey Pinkmane
There are more than just social benefits to being naked. There are medical benefits as well.
One of these benefits is for your skin. You skin releases sweat (as you know) to cool down your body. Some kinds of clothes (especially tight ones) can cause the sweat to not be able to escape, and your skin suffers for it. Just like oil, sweat can clog your pores if it’s not released correctly and being naked makes sure that the sweat can flow freely.
This is also true for the juices released by your downstairs area. Too many tight panties and especially pantyhose can cause all your feminine juices to get trapped and leave your more prone to infection.
Another benefit is for your breasts. Wearing bras has been said by many to be very bad for you, for many health reasons. It can also lead to saggier breasts. Apparently your breasts can be up to 7mm perkier if you don’t wear bras all the time.
Some people (including me) are not always comfortable going braless in public, but when you’re home, let those babies out!
Bras can be very restrictive. “It’s like a boobie zoo,” says Lily Aldrin from the show How I Met Your Mother, and she’s very right. To that point, wearing a bra that’s too tight for you can dig into your shoulder and restrict blood flow. I may not be a doctor, but restricting blood flow, unless a limb gets chopped off, is pretty much always bad.
Benefit Number Three: Sleep! Sleeping naked can be very helpful. When you sleep, your body is pretty much trying to regulate itself back to its zero state. Your conscious brain goes to sleep, and in the meantime, your unconscious brain is trying to restore itself by resetting.
It’s the biological equivalent of turning something off and turning it back on again. When you sleep naked, it’s easier for your body to regulate when it’s at its natural temperature, so instead of sleeping in big ole’ flannel pajamas, try something lighter and looser to help your body restore.
These, among many others, are reasons that you should be naked more of the time. Being naked is fun, it can help your self-esteem, your relationships, and there are medical benefits to it as well. So get out there and have (say it with me) A GOOD OLE NAKED TIME!
